Q15: What is self defense?
Q16: What isn’t self defense?
- The sub servers 1,3,4 and 6 are pvp enabled servers.
Q2: When can I start killing other players?
- Level 16. Before that you are protected from player killers (PKers). Similarly, you cannot attack anyone below level 16. If you try to attack someone in arena, who's too low of a level, it’ll look like you’re attacking, but you won’t be able to do any damage.
Q3: Wait! I'm not level 16 yet and I just got PK'd. What happened?
- This is not possible anymore. In Arena you may be poisoned by Pets, but you will not die.
Q4: What do PvP and PK stand for?
- PvP = Player vs. Player -- as opposed to PvE which is Player vs. Environment. (Pretty much anything you can find to fight that is not another player is considered PvE.)
- PK = Player Kill. I'm sure you get the point.
Q5: How do I get started in PvPing?
- Hit ALT + T on your keyboard and a window will come up, scroll down to PvP status on/off and click on it. This will only work outside cities)
- Once your PvP status is active, crossed swords will appear next to your name.
- to a attack someone, just click on the player, like you would on a mosnter.
Q6: Do I get anything for PvPing?
- PvE:
- You won’t get gold or items or experience.
- Fun is just a sidefactor.
- PvP:
- There is no gain to PvPing except for titles.
Q7: Are there any down sides to PvPing?
- Yes.
- If you have a red name:
- you will loose XP and SXP when you are killed
- the chance that someone else kills you is much higher.
Q8: What class is best for PvP?
- This depends on the situation!
- like what armor have the players,
- what is their evasion
- what is their hitrate
- how much HP do they have
- and lots more...
Q9: Somebody killed me and I wasn’t PvP enabled. What happened?
- Do not worry, you wont loose any XP or SXP.
- The PvP system works like this
- you can only attack someone else, when PvP mode is activated.
- you can be attacked by anyone, it does not matter, if your PvP mode is activated or not.
Q10: How do I get a Blue name?
- To get a blue name you need a minimum of +1000 good points, to get those there are two ways: 1. you can kill red player on/above you lvl to get a max of +6.500 points. 2.you need to kill monsters (this only works on pvp servers) and you will have to kill monsters 5 or more lvls above you! (for each monsters you will get 15 good points)
- Monsters that have a lvl that is like you lvl up to 4 lvls higher will give you 10 good points.
- Monsters that have a lvl that is 5-10 lvl lower than yours will give you 5 good points.
- Monsters that have a lvl that is 11+ lvls lower than yours, will give you no points.
Q11: What and where is the PvP arena?
- The PvP arena is in Randol on the southwest side of the city.
- It’s an area where you can practice your PvP without penalty.
- You will not lose experience for dying there.
- You will not gain or lose good/evil points for fighting there.
- There is also another arena, the 'Proving Ground' In the north of Dratan city, but it is a lot less popular.
- To get to it, you have to teleport through the NPC called 'Dick, Agent of The Proving Ground'
Q12: Are there safe zones?
- Yes, cities are PvP safe.
- You’ll also find that the areas around herbs patches, mines, and energy circles are save as well.
Q13: I can’t turn my PvP mode on or off even though I’m not in a safe zone.
- If you have recently killed someone, there’s a long timer before you can disable PvP.
- You will not be able to turn this off until the timer is done.
- If you go into a city, your PvP will be disabled automatically.
- You will not be able to turn it back on until the timer has finished or you relog.
Q14: How do I get rid of my red name?
- Kill other red named players.
- Kill mobs within your level on pvp servers or kill mobs such as commanders or baal.
Q15: What is self defense?
- Self defense is a situation where you are not PvP enabled and you are attacked by someone who is.
- The player who attacked you will then have the usual crossed swords (PvP-enabled sign) turned into a skull and crossbones.
- You will receive a message in the system box indicating that "Self defense against [player] has been activated"
- If you are defending yourself against a player like this and you are either white- or blue-named, you can kill the other player without losing any Good/Evil points.
- If you are red-named and the other player is white- or blue-named, you will unfortunately become even more evil if you kill them.
Q16: What isn’t self defense?
- You kill a player (maybe a red named player) and think you have done the right thing.
- It turns out the guy’s buddy doesn’t think you’re all that nice, so he enables PvP mode and starts attacking you.
- Here’s where you can get confused.
- If you kill this guy, you will get –10 to your Good/Evil score.
- The game doesn’t know that he’s attacking you because you killed his red-named buddy.
- It only knows that 2 players with PvP-enabled are fighting.

Some things to consider:
Keep in Mind:
Some things to consider:
- It’s just a game.
- Have fun and dont distract yourself from having fun!
- If you get killed or pwnd or whatever, just own up
- 'Take it like a man'
- If you are like a lot of people and get really bent out of shape when you / they lose in PvP, don’t let it make you crazy.
- If you ever find yourself really angry that you or your buddies got killed, go to a non PvP Server
- non PvP Servers are:
- Subserver 4
- Subserver 5
- Subserver 6
- non PvP Servers are:
- Don't Panic.
- Some people will just start running wildly as soon as they realize they're in PvP.
- Don't do this unless you've got a plan.
- You'll probably aggro a bunch of mobs to you, that will want to kill you too.
- Play smart.
- Know your opponents.
- Imagine how your opponent will try to attack you and see if you can’t find a way to exploit an advantage.
Keep in Mind:
- You really can defeat players that are of a higher level if you prepare well and play smart.
- BUT sometimes you’ll fight people who are a lot higher level than you.
- No amount of preparation or skill will make it possible to defeat them alone.
