Phoenix System
The Phoenix System is known as an "alternate advancement system". It allows players who have already gotten at least one of their characters past level 100 to experience a unique new way of leveling up a new character.
requirements for becoming a phoenix
To use Phoenix System you have to fulfill a few requirements:
- You must have a level 100 or higher character on your account already.
- You must create another completely new character on your account. Characters created before you hit level 100 cannot change into Phoenix.
- Your new character (the one applying to become a Phoenix) must be on the same server as your level 100+ character.
- Your new character must have a Phoenix Ticket.
- Your new character must be under level 30 (Night Shadows cannot become a Phoenix)
Registering as Phoenix
To activate Phoenix System you will need an item called Phoenix Ticket. It can be dropped from monsters in Trivia Canyon or purchased from Item Mall or other players. The new character becoming a Phoenix has to hold a Phoenix Ticket in their inventory. The tickets are storable and can be transferred via Bianca's warehouse.

When you're ready, talk to the Phoenix Club Master Idele. She can be found in Randol City, Juno, near Moonstone Statue:
Choose 'Register as Phoenix' option. If you meet all of the requirements, you will be able to successfully become one. If you do not, the Phoenix Club Master will give you an "error" message:
Make sure you have enough free spaces in inventory, before you register. You will need:
So between 17 and 28 spaces are needed.
- 10 spaces for the Phoenix items
- 7 spaces for level 30-32+10 set and weapons
- additional 2 spaces for apprentice weapons, when you have a guardian and change below level 20
- 2 spaces for Rising Star title and Apprenticeship Graduation Gift box, if your Phoenix is going to pass level 50 and has a guardian
- 7 spaces for level 60-62+5 set and weapons, if your Phoenix is going to pass level 60
So between 17 and 28 spaces are needed.
Phoenix benefits
There are many advantages to having your character become a Phoenix. These include:
- automatic level up to level between 35 and 120 depending on the average of all other characters on the account combined (excluding the would-be Phoenix one) minus 65 and rounded down.
Example: Beside your new character, you have 5 other chars on the account: three 185's, one 114 and one 47. The average level is (185*3+114+47) / 5 = 143. After subtracting 65, you'll get 78 - and this is the level at which your Phoenix will start.
|
- extra Stat Points - determined by level of your Phoenix character multiplied by 0.5. Also, once you have chosen your subclass, you will obtain the 3 or 4 rotation of stat points as you level. You will get even MORE extra stat points when your Phoenix reaches the level of other characters on your account. So, as you level the other characters on your account to surpass one another, the more stat points your Phoenix characters will gain and the stronger still they will become.
Example: Your Phoenix starts at level 78. You will receive 77 normal stats plus 78 * 0.5 = 39 extra Stat Points. After choosing the subclass, you will have total of 233 Stat Points (30 normal + 164 from subclass + 39 Phoenix bonus).
|
- extra Skill Points - between 4 000 and 12 500 SP depending on which level you register and which level your Phoenix ends up. The longer you wait to become a Phoenix, the lower your SP bonus will be. A level 1 character that becomes a Phoenix will receive the maximum 4 000 SP. Each time you gain a level (before becoming a Phoenix) you will lose 100 SP. If your Phoenix starts above level 35, you will receive extra 100 SP for each level above 35. The total SP gained can be calculated with the formula:
where: S - level at which you register to become a Phoenix, E - level at which you're supposed to start
Example: You register as Phoenix at level 10 (S) and your Phoenix is automatically leveled up to 78 (E). You will receive 4000-100*(10-1)+100*(78-35) = 7400 extra SP. |
- Phoenix armor - a full set of equipment +10 which will gain in strength with you as you level, much like the Knightmare Armor, only better! It can be jeweled to give it more strength. It cannot be upgraded or blood-sealed however.

- Phoenix Quests series with a special title and accessory as a final reward. Check Phoenix quests page for more info. Because of this bonus, Phoenix characters won't receive some of the mid level quests in Egeha, Dratan and Streiana.
