Reforming seals
Unlike bloodseals, which can be removed and reapplied, it's not so easy to change the other kinds of seals. Item which seals can be changed in any way will have "Re-form available" message displayed in the equipment info window:
There are two types of reform:
- Middle Grade Reforming - for rare items (items with hidden seals which have to be identified)
- Advanced Grade Reforming - for unique items (purple sealed)
Moru of Magic
You can change the seals of equipment at the magical anvil - Moru of Magic NPC, which can be found in Juno, Dratan, Merac, Egeha and Mondshine. The location of anvil in Juno is shown on the map below (red circle):
To reform an item you will need a reform potion and some Golden Magnifying glasses. There are two different reform potions:
The reformers can be purchased in the Item Mall or won in Laca Ball and during events.
How to reform
Select reforming option, depending on the type of item you want to change and the reforming pop-up window appears:
On the left side (1) you place reforming potion (either mgr or agr), on the right (2) Golden magnifying glasses and on the bottom (3) the piece of gear or accessory you are reforming. You can choose to use 1 to 100 golden magnifying glasses. The higher the number of magnifying glasses, the greater the chance of a positive change. Only Golden magnifying glasses can be used, the regular Magnifying glasses won't work. Each try consumes one reforming potion and the selected number of glasses.
In practice it is advised to always use 100 golden glasses with advanced grade reformers and only 1 golden glass with middle grade reformers.
Clicking 'Re-form' button will start the process. When reforming is complete, the original seals of the item appear on the left and the new ones on the right side of the reform window (see examples below).
This process can be repeated until you no longer have reformers or golden glasses in your inventory. So beware of the repeated click, because the objects can be changed several times.
