He is a traitor who turned his back on Aprone. He's lost his judgement and he has no sense of right and wrong. He's an uncontrollable menace which must be stopped. Even if he is too powerful for us, we must try or perish in the attempt. As I write this, our warriors prepare for our final assault. We will be victorious or we will die. If you find this letter, it means we failed. Someone must kill the Death Knight. Return with Aprone's medal. Return honor to Aprone's Knights! End: Quest book This was a medal of bravery, given to only the best and bravest of Aprone's knights. I never thought it would end up in the hands of the Death Knight of Iris. Lost in Madness
Start: Quest scroll - Daily Record of James 3 days passed since I arrived at the Temple of Forgetfulness, at the Archbishop's request. While the research went smoothly, I saw something shocking at the entrance. I made sure to take a record of it. This is truly a place of unimaginable madness, and it's... inhabited. As I was taking a rubbing of strange altar patterns, I felt a chill gust of wind. I looked around and found myself staring in the face of Barren Eise. Before I had a chance to move, it attacked. I barely escaped with my life. I ran deeper, taking corners blindly until I was alone again. When I got my bearings, I was much deeper in the Temple than I'd planned. Everywhere I looked were stone pillars, ill-favored statues and sluggish lava. The air was a nauseous mix of smoke and brimstone. I don't remember much of what happened next, until one of the statues started moving towards me. Its huge scythe dragging sparks from the ground, it laughed as it came closer. Once again, I ran. Terror sharpened my mind, I knew what happened in the Temple of Forgetfulness. The life which must not exist, the forbidden parchment, the tainted god, those that worship what is forbidden... I write this to salve my shattered psyche. I will do what I can to take this to the proper authorities, or to anyone who can end the horrors. Blood Terrain is real. Forget the myths, forget the legends. It is in the Temple of Forgetfulness. Someone must stop it. I pray this reaches the Archbishop. End: Archbishop Raustus (Juno) Was this in James journal? Oh my. I, we never imagined this could happen. That the Heretics were holding savage rituals in the Temple of Forgetfulness? We owe you a great deal for destroying the Blood Terrain, but I sense this will not be the end of it. |

I'm not going to let this go unchallenged. I've gathered together like-minded individuals to take a stand. If we neglect this, we will surely perish. We need to bring their dark plans to the light of day. Watch them scatter like roaches. You came to us, but will you aid us. There are few causes more just. We need to start with the Velpist Temple. The monstrous experiments there need to be put down. Bring back the cursed bones so we have evidence of the experiments.
