Bloodymir quests
Bounty Taker
Start: Bounty Hunter Jin-Lark (Bloodymir) Well, I'm a bounty hunter. I make my living collecting bounties on fugitives. I take in people who'd rather die than go face their accusers. It's a pretty exciting job actually. You must be new here. Lemme tell you a bit about this place. End: Bounty Hunter Jin-Lark (Bloodymir) This is the land of Bloodymir. For some reason, adventurers keep coming here. Even though it's covered in snow, the darn place is pretty cozy. All the people you see here are adventurers from Iris. Oh, yeah. Before I forget, Hallucina is looking for you. You should see her. |

Shaman Hallucina
Start: Shaman Hallucina (Bloodymir) Greetings. My name is Hallucina. You're new here, aren't you? In case you haven't noticed, there is something odd about this place. I don't know what it is exactly, but I do what I can to help injured adventurers. It's all I can do, really. End: Shaman Hallucina (Bloodymir) Some unknown force keeps adventurers trapped in Bloodymir. It seems to sap their very minds. Some adventurers went mad, some wandered away, others just plain vanished. We're all trapped here, no matter how we try to escape. You're going to need our help if you want out. To be honest, we need your help just as badly. |

Making the Mindless Dead
Start: Bounty Hunter Jin-Lark (Bloodymir) An unknown force keeps us trapped in Bloodymir. People trickle in, here and there, but nobody gets out. Don't believe me? Look past the walls. Once the adventurers lose it, they wait out there, watching us. They don't attack the village too often, as long as we thin their numbers. Could you help us keep them back? Don't look at me like that. Their minds are gone and they constantly try to kill us, what are we supposed to do? End: Bounty Hunter Jin-Lark (Bloodymir) You saw it didn't you? Their eyes, there's nothing there. No sparkle, no life, just... emptiness. Now you know, there's nothing else we could do. |
Reward:
|
Evidence and Secrets
Start: Observer Elios (Bloodymir) I heard you, uh, handled the madmen outside the village. Now I can have a proper look around. Huh? What was that? Oh, nothing. I thought I heard something... In any case, I am Elios the scout. I think I may have found something interesting. There might actually be a way to escape this place. I can't tell you much, but it has something to do with the Dominated Healers. Bring me some of their evidence, let's see what we learn. End: Shaman Hallucina (Bloodymir) Elios told me you saw a strange creature while you were killing the healers. Maybe that thing had something to do with what's happening. I need to do more research. |
Reward:
|
Unnatural Corruption
Start: Bounty Hunter Jin-Lark (Bloodymir) Mages and Sorcerers are supposed to live in harmony with nature, blessed by the spirits. That they became corrupted means the land lost its guardians. Not only that, but in this corrupted state they turn their powers against us. We can't let this stand. End: Bounty Hunter Jin-Lark (Bloodymir) We defeated them for now, but they'll be back tomorrow. Is there no way for us to save them...? |
Reward:
|
Hecate's Claws
Start: Bounty Hunter Jin-Lark (Bloodymir) What do you know about that giant rock? The one in the lake? Hallucina says it radiates massive amounts of some strange energy. I'm sure you've seen it, and all the mindless it attracts. To top it off, Hecate of the Specter Army keeps people from getting too close. And when I say keeps people away, I mean Hecate kills them all. I need you to destroy Hecate and bring back some evidence. End: Bounty Hunter Jin-Lark (Bloodymir) You defeated Hecate? None of us could ever pull that off! This is great, now we can finally unlock the secrets of that rock. |
Reward:
|
God's Holy Charm
Start: Shaman Hallucina (Bloodymir) That rock is connected to all strata in the area. It seems to be amplifying something... After examining the samples you brought, I'm finding magical traces of a Horn of Domination. We need something that can counteract this sort of influence. The only thing I can think of is God's Holy Charm. If anyone has a God's Holy Charm, it'll be Nix. We need to ask him. End: Merchant Nix (Bloodymir) What's that? You want A God's Charm? For Free!? Uh-uh, that ain't gonna happen. If you want it, I'll cut you a deal. If you have any idea how much one of these charms go for, you'll take that deal. |
Reward:
|
Horn of Domination
Start: Shaman Hallucina (Bloodymir) I'm sorry, but I don't have anything. Nobody ever gets anything from Nix for free. Do what you have to do, but get another charm from Nix. We need to see if that charm counteracts the effects of the Horn of Domination. End: Horn of Domination (Bloodymir) As the Charm glows red, cracks run up the Horn of Domination. The glow fades away. Is it truly destroyed? Note: Buy God's Red Charm from Merchant Nix. The first Horn of Domination is located on the lake. |
Reward:
|
Crimson Darkness
Start: Shaman Hallucina (Bloodymir) A Magician's power resides in their mind, not their arms. This is their strength, and their tragedy. They kept their minds, but the dark powers changed them. They were transformed into the blackest magicians and given an insatiable thirst for souls. Can you imagine the horror? Feeling your mind warp into a hungry, soul-devouring monster? What could you do? How do you stop your own mind? End: Shaman Hallucina (Bloodymir) I am glad you destroyed them. I can only hope their misery is at an end. |
Reward:
|
Trapped in Madness
Start: Observer Elios (Bloodymir) I was trying to escape... I took the northwest trail, but the way is blocked by the mindless adventurers. Enough running, we need to take a stand. I saw my friends, mad and wandering through the forest. Knight Fang is already there. We need to lay these wandering souls to rest so others can get through. Please take care of them and see Knight Fang. She may be a bit fussy, but she's not that bad. End: Assassin Knight Fang (Bloodymir) Who are you? |
Reward:
|
The Goblin Hordes
Start: Assassin Knight Fang (Bloodymir) You there! You know we're doing all we can to get out of this gods-forsaken place, right? We destroyed that Horn of Domination, but we seem no closer to freedom. According to Hallucina, the Horn's power still remains. Perhaps there is another Horn over the hill, where the goblins are. And no, I can't do it. I'm an assassin! I'll kill any person on the planet, but I only kill one-on-one. I don't do hordes. End: Assassin Knight Fang (Bloodymir) I could have taken care of that myself, you know. Stop looking at me like that, I'm serious! It just would've taken me a lot longer. Anyway! Now we can go over that hill! |
Reward:
|
The Goblin Elite
Start: Assassin Knight Fang (Bloodymir) Not all goblins are the same. The best warriors of all goblinkind are the Elite Goblin Knights. Never mind their size, they catch you with one of their blades, you're going down. Now for the record, someone as awesome as me could kill them all without leaving a single trace. What? No, you're going to do it. I don't fight goblins. Their blood smells awful, and those stains never come out. End: Assassin Knight Fang (Bloodymir) You got `em, huh? I could smell you coming. No, no, stay over there. |
Reward:
|
The Unquiet Dead
Start: Observer Elios (Bloodymir) All too many of the adventurers in Bloodymir lost their minds or their lives. There are so many lost souls out here, how will they ever find peace? Can you help us? End: Observer Elios (Bloodymir) The souls left behind will never be buried in Bloodymir. Instead, they linger, like snow that never melts. |
Reward:
|
Goodnight Aguares
Start: Bounty Hunter Jin-Lark (Bloodymir) Looks like the Specter Army's invading again. What? You don't know about the Specter Army? If you thought the Heretics were easy, you'll love the Specters. The rest of us'll have a tough battle ahead, though. Just be careful, that Aguares character has quite a few scary nicknames. Why don't you go kill him? End: Bounty Hunter Jin-Lark (Bloodymir) You got him? Wow! There was no way I could've survived that fight, or anybody I know for that matter. From what I heard, Aguares didn't stand a chance! At this rate, it won't be long before we can leave this hellhole. |
Reward:
|
Goblins are Gross
Start: Assassin Knight Fang (Bloodymir) I thought you said you killed all the Goblins? The damn things are everywhere! If I was doing this, they'd be extinct by now! Come on, you can do better. Seriously. End: Assassin Knight Fang (Bloodymir) I really hope you did a better job. I'll be checking, you can be sure of that! |
Reward:
|
Horn in the Mine
Start: Assassin Knight Fang (Bloodymir) There's an abandoned mine over that hill, and I'm willing to bet it's got another Horn of Domination. Hallucina is trying to trace the power to the source, but there are Berserkers everywhere. Someone should do something. I meant you, by the way. End: Assassin Knight Fang (Bloodymir) Well, you didn't disappoint. You know, you should practice your technique more. Sure, you can hack your way through a melee, but how would you survive a single, master swordsman? |
Reward:
|
Boom Goes the Gunpowder
Start: Observer Elios (Bloodymir) Thanks to you getting rid of those demons, we finally reached the abandoned mine! But we aren't only facing berserkers, like we expected. We also came across goblins and explosives! Those damn Goblin Grenadiers, we can't defend against explosives. We need help. End: Observer Elios (Bloodymir) Whew, thanks. Now we can explore deeper into the mine. You look a bit singed, you sure you're okay? |
Reward:
|
Dread Moloch
Start: Observer Elios (Bloodymir) What? You saw Moloch with the Berserkers? Oh gods, anyone but Moloch... He's the Specter Army's cruelest warrior and the source of their strength. We must destroy him if we are to survive. End: Observer Elios (Bloodymir) Did you really kill Moloch? I can't believe it! Knight Fang said you would handle things, but I never believed her... What? Don't look at me like that. |
Reward:
|
Berserk Attacks
Start: Bounty Hunter Jin-Lark (Bloodymir) A bunch of Berserkers attacked me in that creepy Abandoned Mine. I was quick enough to kill them, but it would probably be too dangerous for civilians. We should do something about this, don't you think? Wanna help me kill some Berserkers? End: Bounty Hunter Jin-Lark (Bloodymir) No matter how dull they look, you must be careful. Berserkers never tire, they never fear, and they show no mercy. You did a fine job. |
Reward:
|
Second Horn of Domination
Start: Shaman Hallucina (Bloodymir) So, you destroyed Moloch? That's a relief. Maybe we can finally destroy that second Horn of Domination. Needless to say, we need you to buy another charm from Nix. End: Horn of Domination (Bloodymir) Once again, the charm glows blue. As before, the glow around the Horn of Domination slowly fades. Will this be the last horn? Note: Buy God's Blue Charm from Merchant Nix. The second Horn of Domination is located in the northwest corner of the map. |
Reward:
|
The Specters' Base
Start: Observer Elios (Bloodymir) The Specter Army established a base in the center of Bloodymir, from which they send demons across this forsaken land. We must inform the others. I will continue observing; please deliver this report to Jin-Lark. End: Bounty Hunter Jin-Lark (Bloodymir) Elios is an excellent scout, I don't doubt any information he brings to us. Did the Specters choose that location because of the vantage point, or is there some other reason? Hmm. |
Reward:
|
Corruption of the Corrupted
Start: Bounty Hunter Jin-Lark (Bloodymir) We destroyed two Horns of Domination, but nothing changed. According to Hallucina, there's likely another Horn out there somewhere. Based on Elios' reports, I suspect it's on the upper side of the Specter base. Before we can get to it, we need somebody to clear some of the demons out. How `bout it? End: Bounty Hunter Jin-Lark (Bloodymir) Incredible, you just keep surprising me! Is there any enemy you can't handle? |
Reward:
|
Diseased Harpies
Start: Shaman Hallucina (Bloodymir) Harpies are filthy creatures! They carry diseases they pass on to damn near anyone they injure. You don't want to know what sort of bugs they carry. Seriously. Someone has to deal with those harpies. Our healers can't keep up with all the discharges and smells and rashes! Eugh! End: Shaman Hallucina (Bloodymir) Thanks to you, we won't have more so many adventurers falling ill. Now we just gotta keep those infernal harpies from returning. |
Reward:
|
The Mind Mage
Start: Shaman Hallucina (Bloodymir) I can sense more Domination Energy over at the Specter Army Base, but the energy has all the hallmarks of a magician named Camio. Camio was famed for his mind spells, he preferred to enslave and dominate demons. If he is at the base, you must kill him and any demons he summoned. Bring back his materials, particularly his inscribed cane. We don't want anybody else using his tools for evil. We don't need any more Horns of Domination. End: Shaman Hallucina (Bloodymir) Camio's death strikes a powerful blow against the Specter Army! Now to destroy the final Horn of Domination! I really hope it's the last one. |
Reward:
|
Like the Wind
Start: Assassin Knight Fang (Bloodymir) A good rogue is like the wind. The wind can be felt, never touched. Wind rends trees and buildings, but who can harm the wind? We lost our rogues to the control of the Horn of Domination. We can't save them, we can only put them to rest. Can you slay the wind? End: Assassin Knight Fang (Bloodymir) So Rogues are just humans after all. I never said your task was impossible; I only said that it wouldn't be easy. Was I right? |
Reward:
|
Screeching Harpies
Start: Assassin Knight Fang (Bloodymir) We found a number of harpies flying around the watchtower. Harpies are stupid and filthy demons created by Heretics, but they're more dangerous than you think. As if that weren't enough, the damn things fly. End: Observer Elios (Bloodymir) Thanks to you destroying the Harpies, we can finally scout that watchtower. I've got a good feeling that the Horn of Domination's inside that tower. We think Bereed, another general of the Specter Army, is in that tower. To get to him, we'll need to clear out more of the Harpies. |
Reward:
|
Vanishing Knights
Start: Bounty Hunter Jin-Lark (Bloodymir) Do you know where Knight Fang went? Don't tell me she went after Bael all by herself. He's out of her league, Bael is the most powerful person in the entire Specter Army! We need to find Fang. End: Assassin Knight Fang (Bloodymir) Knight Fang is badly wounded. Her breathing is shallow and she leans on that tree like it's the only thing holding her up. |
Reward:
|
Terror of Bael
Start: Assassin Knight Fang (Bloodymir) You... you have to kill him! We need to destroy that last Horn of Domination... I-I'm sorry, but I wasn't good enough. End: Assassin Knight Fang (Bloodymir) You did great, thanks. Hallucina patched me up, I'm feeling much better. |
Reward:
|
The Last Horn of Domination
Start: Shaman Hallucina (Bloodymir) This must be the last Horn of Domination, I'm sure of it. If we can destroy it, we might be able to break free of this prison. We would have never made it this far without you. I got the God's Black Charm from Nix, let's destroy that last horn! End: Horn of Domination (Bloodymir) The charm emits an aura of darkness, and once again the glow from the Horn of Domination fades. As the last Horn is destroyed, all of Bloodymir begins to shake and howl. Note: The last Horn of Domination is located in the center of the map. |
Reward:
|
The Beast in the Mountain
Start: Bounty Hunter Jin-Lark (Bloodymir) Something happened to Hallucina. Her health's declining, we think she found something on the mountain behind Frozen Lake. Anything that powerful is dangerous. As long as that danger remains, Bloodymir stays closed off. We need you to investigate. Please be careful. Just learning about this almost destroyed Hallucina. End: Bounty Hunter Jin-Lark (Bloodymir) Your bravery will be remembered for generations. You saved the minds and lives of every person here! I'm glad to have met someone like you. Thank you, for everything. |
Reward:
|
The Way Home
Start: Shaman Hallucina (Bloodymir) Hero, you saved everyone. Literally everyone. We will never forget your courage and devotion. At last, we can return to Iris! End: Shaman Hallucina (Bloodymir) You destroyed the Leviathan. Our future will no longer be shrouded in darkness. We all hope to see you again soon. You can always come back through the teleporter! |
