Mondshine Crafting
[OLD GUIDE COPY]
The Mondshine crafting is available for every player that reaches level 130 and completes Mondshine entering quests.
Getting startedTalk to Chairman of Craftsman Association Murlin. For a fee of 100,000,000 gold you can Register as a member of the Craftsman Association. Before you start to learn skills you need to purchase Craftsman's Certificates.
There are five crafting categories and each of them allows you to learn unique skills:
|
Once you purchase a Certificate you are allowed to learn crafting skills from Craftsman Nirl in exchange of gold (an example on the left). The crafting skills for each category can be divided into four Tiers:
The Mondshine crafting doesn't need skill points. Every time you successfully create an item from one of the 5 categories your skill level for that category has a chance to increase by 1. There are three phases of different skill increase success rate for any tier:
For example, if you are going through Tier 2 - orange phase will last from level 31 to 40, yellow phase from 41 to 50 and green phase from 51 to 60. The color of the skill name will indicate in which phase you currently are. If the name turns grey, it will mean you cannot gain more skill levels by crafting this item. You must achieve a certain amount of Manufacturing Skill Points before you can purchase skills for the next tier in that category. |
Materials
The crafting materials come from material bags which can be obtained from fighting monsters throughout Mondshine*. There are four kinds of material bags:
Note that the bags wont drop from blue named monsters. Each bag contains a variety of material components used in crafting. The materials are given out at random. They can be divided into two groups - raw materials which must be refined (check Material Crafting page for details) and weapon components which don't need further processing. The table below shows what you can find in a particular material bag. Note that there is a discrepancy in Spirits distribution - the item does not appear in the expected pouch.
- Old Material Purse - can be opened at level 140 and higher, drops from level 140-145 monsters (Mondshine)
- Blue Pouch of Material - can be opened at level 145 and higher, drops from level 145-150 monsters (Mondshine)
- Yellow Pouch of Material - can be opened at level 150 and higher, drops from 152-157 monsters (Mondshine and Chapel)
- Red Pouch of Material - can be opened at level 155 and higher, drops from monsters above level 158 (Chapel and Dark Altar)

Crafting
Before you craft desired piece of gear you have to start with refining raw materials from pouches and purses. Open Crafting Menu located in the Action Menu and select Material Certificate.
In section Other you will find a list of available refining skills. Choose the material you want to refine and hit Crafting.
The amount of materials you need for any particular piece of gear will depend on which part it is and for which class it is meant. Check categories pages for details. Estimated amounts of pouches you need to open are:
Except the materials you will also need Catalysers - they can be purchased at Grocer Mary at 10,000,000 gold each. Let's craft some healer boots:
