Guilds
[OLD GUIDE COPY]
Guild creation
A guild may be created by any player. There are currently fifty guild levels, with all guilds starting at level 1 and working their way up. At the moment it is considered useless to go past level 10 because that is the level at which guilds get their last guild skill and the number of guild members is capped at 105.
To create a guild, your character must be at least level 10, have 10 SP, and 10,000 gold. If you have all that, you may go talk to the Royal Guard Captain who is standing just inside of the north gate of Randol City, Juno. Select option 1, "Guild Registration" and specify your chosen guild name. Once you confirm the name, the required payment will automatically be deducted from your gold and SP amounts and the guild tag will appear over your head. Note: If you are guildless or are a normal guild member, you will receive the window displayed on the right when you talk to the Royal Guard Captain. After you have created a guild, you may level it up by talking to the Royal Guard Captain again and selecting option 1, "Guild Upgrade." Right now guilds may go as high as level 50. Each level has higher requirements than the last one and gives you new or more added benefits up through guild level 10. Check the Guild upgrading section to see the costs of upgrading a guild and what each guild level gives you. Note: If you are a Guild Master, you will receive the window displayed on the right when you talk to the Royal Guard Captain. When guild levels 6-50 were released in April, 2008 a new guild management system was also added. Guilds level 1-5 still have the old management system, but once guilds reach level 6 they are allowed to enjoy the new one. See the Guild management section for details on how to work the new system and screenshots of what it looks like. Notice that after reaching level 6, guilds require something called "Guild Points" or "GP" to level up in addition to the regular gold and SP costs applied to the Guild Master. |
Joining or leaving a guild
First, open your Guild menu by hitting G or Alt+G and then selecting the "Guild" tab at the top of the window.
As you can see, there are quite a few different icons on the Guild menu. This section discusses the top two--Apply to Guild and Leave Guild. Applying to a guild You may only apply to a guild via the guild's Guild Master or one of the two Guild Advisors. To apply, select the name or character of the appropriate player, then hit the icon displayed on the left. Doing so will send a message asking if you can join to the Guild Master or Guild Advisor that you are applying to. If they hit "Confirm," then the guild's nametag will appear above your name and you will be part of the guild! If you aren't near the GM/GA you can still apply for a guild by using in normal chat the following command: /g_apply <PlayerName> Also GA and GM can invite someone to guild by using command: /g_invite <PlayerName> Note: You have to be on the same subserver to use commands for applying/inviting to the guild. Leaving a guild You may leave a guild at any time you choose. To leave, simply press the icon that is displayed on the left. Once you have left a guild there will be a seven-day penalty during which you cannot apply or be invited to any other guild. If you do not wish to wait those seven days, have your current Guild Master kick you out--that will nullify the penalty. Guild Masters, to kick someone out of the guild, go to the Manage guild area. From there you may kick members. |
Guild Management (Level 6 and higher guild)
Guild Levels
With each new level comes an expansion of the number of members that the guild can have. This means that sub-guilds will be a thing of the past. The leveling of guilds can go to 50.
Note: Currently the cap for guilds is 50. However it is only wise to level the guild to 10, as there are no skills available for a guild past level 10. These will be added in the future, along with new guild skills.
Guild Points
Guild points are a new edition to Last Chaos. Currently Guild points can be gained by assigning members of your guild to give up a certain percentage of their experience in exchange for guild points.
10000 Experience = 1 Guild Point
Note: Experience earned from boosters or from quests does not go to the guild when you have your guild's Guild Master donate some or all of your experience donated to your guild.

The guild member information screen shows what guild members are online, their class, location and the amount of guild points they have contributed to the guild itself.
Guild Management Screen
The guild Management screen allows a guild master to fulfill the normal functions of assigning advisors, removing members and assigning a new guild master.
A new feature has been added however that allows the guild master to set the name of each position of their guild members. Through this screen guild masters can also assign the percentage of experience that guild members will contribute to the guild point total as they kill monsters.
Guild Emblems
You have quite a few options when thinking about what Guild Emblem you want to have. It's fun to look through all the options and choose what is right for you and your guild. Sadly, Guild Emblems don't give buffs to your guild but do look nice and are a fun customization option to explore in the LC world.
Guild Upgrading
- When a guild is created, its guild level will be 1.
Requirements for upgrading:
- the guildmaster will be able to upgrade the guilds level using gold and skill points.
- with each level the guild can hold more members at a time,
- but the guildmaster needs to be equal to or higher than the level required for upgrading.
- after the guild is upgraded to level 6, guild points will be required to upgrade the guild even further.
- the current guild level cap is 50
Guild Skills
Guild skills can be bought with guild and Guild Points. They also require the guild to be a certain level.

Guild Positions
For guilds below level 6, there are currently three positions in a guild. These are Guild Master, Guild Adviser(s), and Guild Member(s). For guilds at or above level 6, the Guild Master has the ability to give the Guild Advisor(s) and Guild Member(s) any title he or she wishes.
Guild Master
The Guild Master is the head of the guild. He can add new members and has the ability to kick a fellow member or adviser.
There are 2 ways of becoming a guild master:
1. You can form the guild yourself by paying gold and giving up SP, or
2. If you are a member or an adviser, the guild master can appoint you as guild master.
Guild Adviser
The Guild adviser is the Guild Master's right hand man. A guild can have 2 advisers. If you try to appoint more than 2 advisers, you will have an error saying that you can't appoint the third.
The guild adviser has the following ability:
1. A Guild Advisor may let people join in a Guild.
2. A Guild Advisor may kick people out of a Guild.
Guild advisers are like junior guild master (put it that way cause it'll make you feel better).
Guild Members
Guild members make up majority of the guild. They only have the ability to be in the guild (pretty lame), but with out members you cannot upgrade your guild. Guild Members can leave the guild when they want if you don't treat them well. Even guild advisers can leave the guild when they want.
Guild Titles for Sieges
These titles are only activated during Dratan / Merac Castle Siege, the boni they bring are:

Guild Hall
The Guild Hall is a place where members of a Guild may come together and talk. It is arranged much like a throne room, with a long red carpet down the middle and a big chair at the front of the room. The Guild Hall is a great place for guilds to come together when they have something to discuss. Before Castle Siege for example. Each Guild has their own private Guild Hall, meaning that no two Guilds will share the same room.
To get to the Guild Hall, you must talk with the Royal Guard Captain who is standing just inside the north gate of Randol City, Juno. There is also a Royal Guard Captain at the east gate of Dratan City, Dratan. They both will give you a few options of what you can do. Select option 2, "Transfer to Guild Hall," to go to the Guild Hall. There are 2 NPC's located within the Guild Hall. The first one is a teleporter, and from here, you are able to teleport to any map (Except Mondshine). The second is an NPC named the Guild Financial Manager (discussed in the Taxes section) is to the chair's right. Here are some screenshots of the Guild Hall: |
Guild Storage
With a level 6 Guild the Guild Master has the ability to learn the "Open guild storage" skill. The storage can be used by any member of the guild, which has the rights to use guild storage enabled in 'Set' window ('Usable' box checked). This also includes the Guild Master, the setting is not automatic after learning the skill!
To access the storage go to Guild financial manager in the Guild Hall. The available options are:
Storing items at the guild storage
Withdrawing items from the guild storage
Warning: If the item you want to store is already in storage (Master Coins for example), you wont be able to add larger quantities of it. To do so first remove the item from storage and then deposit the increased pile again.
Each member of the guild can check who and how used the storage by choosing Check the storage usage history option:
- Choose Store items at the guild storage option
- Grab the desired item from your inventory and drop it in one of the five slots in the bottom
- If necessary enter the amount of items you want to store
- Click Deposit
Withdrawing items from the guild storage
- Choose Take items out of guild storage option
- Grab the desired item from guild storage space and drop it in one of the five slots in the bottom
- Click Withdrawal
Warning: If the item you want to store is already in storage (Master Coins for example), you wont be able to add larger quantities of it. To do so first remove the item from storage and then deposit the increased pile again.
Each member of the guild can check who and how used the storage by choosing Check the storage usage history option:
Siege Taxes
The two Guilds, that 'own' the Dratan Castle and the Merac Castle get taxes each day they 'own' the castles.
For the Merac Castle Siege:
The Guild 'owning' the Merac Castle, gets 2% of the income from sales performed while in package mode.
Note: The collection is bugged and not all of the 2% tax from each sale can be collected.
For the Dratan Castle Siege:
The Guild 'owning' the Dratan Castle, gets 'all' of the income, which is payed when players enter the Tomb of Theo.
Note: The collection is bugged and not all of the entering gold from each player can be collected.
Taxes may be collected only by the Guild Masters, but every member of the 'owning' guilds can check the taxes.
For the Merac Castle Siege:
The Guild 'owning' the Merac Castle, gets 2% of the income from sales performed while in package mode.
Note: The collection is bugged and not all of the 2% tax from each sale can be collected.

Taxes may be collected only by the Guild Masters, but every member of the 'owning' guilds can check the taxes.
The Guild Finance Manager is the NPC that is standing in the front of the Guild Hall beside the throne. Anyone in any guild may talk with him, but if you are not the Guild Master of one of the 'owning' guilds, you may not withdraw money, neither will a member of a not 'owning' guild see any taxes.
If you select option 1, "Check Tax Income," you should be taken to a window that will show you what taxes were collected from whom, at what time, and how much the taxes amounted to. If your guild does not own either Castle, you will receive the message: |
Only Guild Master may check the tax records or withdraw money to buy things for the guild.
